Answer: Short and simple, you will be offered an electrical installation service and provided with the latest LED fluro tubes at a significantly reduced price supported by the government carbon credit rebate.
Is it free?
Answer: Short answer no. Based on the Annual Operating Hours (AOH) and space type or BCA (Building Code of Australia) classification. Commercial buildings and businesses fall under certain hours of operation. The Victorian energy efficiency target scheme allows us to exchange your "reduction of carbon emission" to "x" amount of carbon credits. These "credits" are converted into currency allowing us to get paid through the government initiative. Since most retail stores, manufacturing factories, parking, storage, hospitals and warehousing are classified in the 5000hrs range, it enables us to provide this product and electrical service at a heavily discounted price.
Is there a minimum amount of lights required?
Answer: Yes, New Switch Electrical is focusing on high volume properties. The minimum amount of lights tubes at a premises must be at least 50. An amount lower than this will incur a service charge depending on access and service time.
Who can install these products?
Answer: Only Veet approved licensed a grade electrical contractors can perform the installation.
Is there insurance?
Answer: New Switch Electrical is fully insured with a public liability of $20m to protect your business and assets. An electrical certificate is provided on completion of job.
